Benjamin Cyril Ramage was born in 1923 in Dawson, British Columbia. He enlisted at an Armoury in Saskatchewan. During the war Ben was stationed in Holland. After the war he returned to Canada and worked for Northern Irrigation where he met his wife Del Auger. Together they had four children: John, Theresa, Janet, and Ron. Ben worked for 35 years in the mines of Saskatchewan and British Columbia. In 1970 he went back to Apeldoorn, Holland for the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the Netherlands celebrations. Ben spent the latter years of his life playing crib and having coffee with the men. He was a member in good standing of the Royal Canadian Legion until his passing. Ben’s son John lives in Coaldale, Alberta.

Banner applications for 2023 are closed. Applications for 2024 are now being accepted. They must be received no later than June 30th, 2024. Only 90 additional (over and above the 2023 banners) will be displayed in the lead up to the 2024 Remembrance Day so sponsorships will again be available on a first come first served basis.
