Born in England, Benjamin B. Martin Jr. found a passion for music and organs with his father before immigrating to Canada to start in the funeral business with his brother Harry. Once Ben was settled in Lethbridge with what would become a multi-generational funeral home, Martin Brothers, he enlisted and served for the Royal Canadian Artillery Corps in France during WW I. After The War, Ben and his brother passionately served Southern Albertan communities through Rotary, The Freemasons, The Legion, Chamber of Commerce, choir groups, and of course Funeral Service. He is the Founder of Martin Brothers and the catalyst of an extraordinary legacy in Funeral Service.
