Clarence Jensen was born June 25th, 1919 in Medicine Hat. Before WW II he worked for the Lethbridge Northern Irrigation District. He joined the 20th Anti-Tank Battery RCA in 1939 one day after the war was declared. He served overseas with the Battery in France, Holland, and Belgium. His responsibilities included driving a bren gun carrier. He was wounded in July 1944 and returned home to Picture Butte in August 1945. After his discharge he went back to work with the Lethbridge Northern Irrigation District. He retired in 1983 and moved to Lethbridge. Clarence had married his wife Lorraine in 1946 and had four children: Bryan, Bruce, Myles, and David. He passed away November 7, 1999.
