Mr. Francis (Frank) Joseph Rodinyak was born on September 10, 1920 and was both raised and educated in Lethbridge. He remained in Lethbridge until joining the Canadian Army in 1940 during World War II where he achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant. Following his discharge in 1946, Frank returned to Lethbridge and worked for the Unemployment Insurance Commission. He joined the Canadian Corps of Commissionaires in 1976 and retired after 22 years of service. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, and served as President and Past President of the Blairmore Royal Canadian Legion. He was also a member of the Army, Navy, and Air Force Association in Lethbridge. Frank had four daughters, all of Lethbridge and Coaldale, eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren, and three loving sisters. Frank died on August 16, 1991.

Only 90 additional (over and above the 2023 banners) will be displayed in the lead up to the 2024 Remembrance Day so sponsorships will again be available on a first come first served basis.
