Norman Chevrier was born in March 1920. Upon the outbreak of World War II in 1939 he joined the 48th Highlanders and saw service in Italy and North West Europe. Upon his release from the military in 1946 he was employed by Fords of Canada until his retirement in 1980. He was married to Beatrice Paquin and they had five children (Norma, Carol, Sue, Richard and Keith) and 8 grandchildren, all of whom honour their Dad and Pepe through this banner. Richard lives in Lethbridge.

Banner applications for 2023 are closed. Applications for 2024 are now being accepted. They must be received no later than June 30th, 2024. Only 90 additional (over and above the 2023 banners) will be displayed in the lead up to the 2024 Remembrance Day so sponsorships will again be available on a first come first served basis.
